If you have lines on your copies it may be as simple as cleaning the scanner glass!
When a speck of dust or ink adheres to the scanner slit glass, the small thin piece of glass on the left under the document feeder, it will show up as a line on your copies. Because the document feeder pulls the paper across the scanner slit glass, any stationary object will show up as a line. You can tell that this is the problem when you have lines on your copies but NOT on your prints. To clean the scanner glass, use an alcohol wipe or in a pinch, a little bit of hand sanitizer with a paper towel.
If you have lines on prints, this is something that our technicians need to address.
